Easy, Powerful Passwords

Want to generate easy to remember powerful passwords that are hard to hack?

Think of a favorite song, phrase or poem you know by heart. Use the first letter of each word of a favorite phrase as your password.  Choose a hint that reminds you of that phrase that others will not know.

Password example:  mctotslolotis   -   Hint:  patriotic
My country tis of the, sweet land of liberty of the I sing

Password example:  icgnsicgnsaitaitait   -  Hint:  rolling stone
Phrase: I can’t get no satisfaction, I can’t get no satisfaction, and I tried and I tried and I tried.

Or suppose you had a stuffed lamb named Buffy as a child.
Password:  mhallllllmhallwfwwas   -   Hint: Buffy
Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb, mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow.

You don’t have to write down the password, just the hint.  This makes your passwords much harder to guess or hack. And it’s fun thinking up phrases and hints that others will not know.

Or put the password in backwards by moving the cursor left after each letter.   It takes longer to type but it also helps to defeat key loggers.

sitololstotcm   -  Hint:  patriotic
tiatiatiasngcisngci   -   Hint: rolling stone
sawwfwllahmllllllahm   -   Hint:  buffy

Hope this helps you to better passwords and safer computing!!!
